China Printing, Label & Converting Trade Shows 2026–2027: A Buyer’s Guide

Compare nine China print exhibitions for presses, labels, paper-packaging printing and converting, inks, office-print consumables, paper and production workflows.

“Printing” describes several businesses that rarely buy the same production system. A commercial printer investing in a new press, a packaging converter adding flexible or corrugated capacity, a label producer moving into short runs, an ink manufacturer qualifying resins and pigments, an office-supplies distributor sourcing cartridges and a packaging plant securing paper grades all belong to the print economy. Their most relevant exhibitions are different.

Start with the production responsibility. All in Print China 2026 and PRINT CHINA 2027 are the two broadest industrial-printing benchmarks in this selection, with an earlier Shanghai window and a later Dongguan capital-equipment cycle. Printing South China and Sino-Label form the practical Guangzhou route for printing, packaging conversion and labels. WEPACK adds a more focused Shanghai option for corrugated and folding-carton printing and converting in late April 2027. When the unresolved question is ink manufacture, office imaging consumables or paper supply, the relevant specialist exhibition is more efficient than a general print show.

The nine exhibitions offer eight city-and-date travel windows, with WEPACK counted once as an umbrella programme. Printing South China and Sino-Label share dates and Area A of the Canton Fair Complex. By contrast, All in Print, Asia Ink Expo and RemaxWorld overlap from 15 to 16 October 2026 in three different cities. Those dates create a real choice, not a credible three-show itinerary.

Choose the production business before the exhibition

Buyer task First exhibitions to compare Responsibility boundary
Commercial, publishing or transactional print All in Print, Printing South China, PRINT CHINA Press, prepress, workflow, colour control, inspection and finishing across the representative job mix
Packaging printing and converting All in Print, Printing South China, PRINT CHINA; WEPACK for corrugated and folding-carton work Printing connected to coating or lamination, drying or curing, die-cutting, slitting and final conversion; distinguish paperboard production from flexible-packaging processes
Label production and smart identification LOUPE South China or Sino-Label; add All in Print or PRINT CHINA for a wider plant investment Label presses, substrates, converting, inspection, variable data, RFID and brand-protection systems
Ink formulation and manufacture Asia Ink Expo Raw materials, formulation, production equipment, laboratory control and application performance
Office imaging, consumables and remanufacturing RemaxWorld Printers, copiers, cartridges, toner, ink, chips, components and remanufacturing rather than industrial presses
Paper, pulp and fibre-based materials Paper Expo China Mills, papermaking inputs, finished grades and converting; not a substitute for a press and workflow exhibition

The boundary is the product or production system being qualified, not the shared word “printing”. The March Guangzhou programme is useful when printing, labels and the physical package must connect: Printing South China and Sino-Label run in Area A, while Sino-Pack and PACKINNO occupy Area B. The China packaging and processing trade-show guide explains the equipment and package route without duplicating it here.

October 2026: three overlapping events, three different decisions

All in Print runs in Shanghai from 12 to 16 October. Asia Ink Expo and RemaxWorld both run from 15 to 17 October, in Guangzhou and Zhuhai. Even though Guangzhou and Zhuhai are within the Greater Bay Area, the overlap leaves too little time for a serious All in Print programme followed by both southern shows.

All in Print for the complete print-production workflow

The tenth All in Print China follows work from prepress and digital output through conventional printing into labels, packaging, flexible and corrugated conversion, binding, finishing, inks and intelligent production. That range suits companies deciding how several production stages should work together.

Plan the visit around representative jobs rather than equipment categories. Use a commercial or packaging job that exposes the current limits in run length, quality, setup, inspection or finishing, and ask suppliers to explain the complete production route. The final preparation section below develops a three-job comparison method.

The show is also useful before an investment specification has been frozen. A team can compare different production architectures—offset plus digital, inline versus offline finishing, or one highly automated line versus several flexible cells—before inviting a smaller group into detailed demonstrations.

For a defined die-cutting or foil-stamping bottleneck, the All in Print carton-finishing article connects the show shortlist to a separately arranged Shanghai supplier meeting around a real job.

Asia Ink Expo for formulation inputs and production technology

Asia Ink Expo divides its scope into inks, raw materials, machinery and equipment, and technology and services. The useful visitor is asking how an ink will be formulated, produced, controlled or adapted for an application, rather than only which colour series is cheapest.

Bring the printing process, substrate, curing or drying conditions, end use, food-contact or other compliance needs, target properties and current failure modes. An ink for flexible packaging, a UV ink for labels and an industrial inkjet formulation can share ingredients but require different test plans. Raw-material alternatives should be connected to colour, adhesion, resistance, migration, press stability and batch consistency.

The Guangzhou date can be paired with supplier laboratories or factories after the show. Combining it with RemaxWorld is practical only for a company that genuinely supplies ink or toner into office imaging and can divide staff between two specialist missions.

RemaxWorld for office-print products and the Zhuhai cluster

RemaxWorld presents printers, copiers, cartridges, ink, toner, chips, parts, remanufacturing and office technologies. Its location is central to its usefulness: many related manufacturers operate in and around Zhuhai, so the exhibition can serve as the first step in an appointment-led factory programme.

Finished-cartridge buyers should define printer compatibility, page-yield method, image-quality expectations, chip and firmware issues, intellectual-property and market requirements, packaging, warranty and failure handling. Component or remanufacturing buyers need a different list covering empty shells, drums, rollers, toner or ink, cleaning, filling, testing, traceability and waste handling.

The fair’s expansion into automation and AI-enabled office solutions should be treated as an adjacent layer, not proof that every workplace technology exhibitor fits a print-consumables brief. Keep the core shortlist tied to the business model: finished-goods distribution, private label, parts, remanufacturing or managed print services.

The RemaxWorld copier-consumables sourcing article develops a model-specific drum-unit and toner brief for planning a Zhuhai supplier appointment.

December 2026: LOUPE for a label converter’s next production step

LOUPE South China, formerly Labelexpo South China, runs on 2–4 December at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. It adds a focused late-2026 option for label producers comparing presses, substrates, inspection and converting, including a move into mid-web flexible packaging or inline folding-carton work. Those adjacent processes are the reason to consider it, not a claim that it covers every packaging-production investment.

Compare LOUPE with Sino-Label when the core business is labels: December in Shenzhen may fit an earlier equipment decision, while March in Guangzhou can connect the label process with the broader Printing South China programme. For expansion into pouches, sleeves or cartons, bring a representative target job and test whether the proposed process actually handles its substrate, format and finishing sequence. A label press demonstration alone does not prove the full new packaging route. Keep All in Print or PRINT CHINA as the broader benchmark when commercial printing and several unrelated production stages drive the investment.

March 2027: one Guangzhou visit for printing and labels

Printing South China and Sino-Label run in Area A of the Canton Fair Complex from 4 to 6 March. Sino-Pack and PACKINNO occupy Area B during the same dates. A printing or packaging company can therefore connect artwork, substrate, print, conversion, labels and the physical pack without changing the travel window.

Printing South China for press, conversion and finishing choices

Printing South China covers prepress and colour management, offset, digital, inkjet, flexographic, gravure and screen printing, followed by binding, die-cutting, paper-container, rigid-box, flexible and corrugated conversion. Its scope makes it a useful South China event for companies whose investment crosses the line between general print and packaging production.

The best route starts with the saleable product. A folding-carton buyer, for example, should connect colour and print quality to board handling, coating, foil or embellishment, die-cutting, folding-gluing, inspection and packing. A flexible-packaging converter follows a different route through web handling, printing, drying, laminating, slitting and inspection. Visiting every press stand without that product logic produces demonstrations that are difficult to compare.

Sino-Label for a concentrated label-production brief

Sino-Label narrows the field to prepress, digital and flexographic printing, label materials, post-press and converting, inspection, RFID, variable data, anti-counterfeiting, traceability and sustainable label constructions. This makes it possible to compare both the printed label and the data or functional layer attached to it.

Bring the application and container, service conditions, label construction, roll dimensions, artwork variants, run lengths, variable information, dispensing method, required inspection and the intended recycling or wash-off route. For RFID or traceability, add read conditions, data ownership, encoding, line integration and the systems that receive the information. A smart label is a system component, not simply a printed graphic with a chip.

The two shows work best with separate time blocks. Use Printing South China for the wider production line and Sino-Label for the label-specific process. Only enter the packing-machinery halls when the print or label must be checked against application, coding, inspection or packing equipment.

April 2027: broad print investment or paper-packaging conversion

The sixth PRINT CHINA runs from 12 to 16 April at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. The exhibition belongs to a four-year cycle and covers prepress, conventional and digital printing, labels, packaging conversion, binding and finishing, materials, inspection and intelligent production.

Its timing makes it useful for buyers who could not complete a decision at the October or March events, and for projects deliberately aligned with a larger capital-equipment window. The additional preparation time should be used to reduce the field. Send representative job files and substrate requirements to shortlisted exhibitors before the show, agree what each demonstration will run, and define what will be measured.

Five exhibition days allow a deeper programme, but only if first-look meetings and serious demonstrations are separated. Use the opening part of the show to confirm the equipment architecture and supplier fit. Reserve later sessions for agreed jobs, workflow integration, output review, commercial scope and follow-up visits. The existing PRINT CHINA printing-line investment guide provides a show-specific framework.

All in Print and PRINT CHINA are both broad printing exhibitions, yet they do not need to be attended by default as a pair. A buyer ready to decide in October can use Shanghai as the primary benchmark and move to factory trials. A project scheduled for 2027, or one needing more time to define automation and converting, can lead with Dongguan.

WEPACK for corrugated and folding-carton printing and converting

WEPACK runs from 26 to 28 April at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Its connected programme includes SinoCorrugated, SinoFoldingCarton and DPrint, bringing corrugated-board production, folding-carton converting and packaging digital printing into one visit. These are sections of the same WEPACK trip, not three additional exhibitions in this guide.

Choose PRINT CHINA when a wider commercial or general-print job mix determines the press, workflow and finishing investment. WEPACK is the more focused comparison when corrugated boxes or folding cartons determine the substrate, print work, run lengths and converting stages. The overlap is real—PRINT CHINA also covers packaging—but a broad press decision and a paper-packaging production decision need different meeting lists.

A folding-carton printer with an equipment shortlist can use the existing WEPACK Shanghai packaging-print trial guide to assess a demonstration using its own job, subject to confirmed equipment and appointment availability. Finished-pack sourcing and wider packaging-process choices remain in the packaging and processing guide, rather than extending this printing comparison to every packaging task.

PRINT CHINA ends in Dongguan on 16 April; WEPACK opens in Shanghai on 26 April. The nine intervening days, 17–25 April, and the intercity transfer make these separate travel windows. Attending both makes sense only when each answers a distinct investment question and confirmed supplier work justifies the longer stay; otherwise choose the event that best fits the production brief.

May 2027: Paper Expo China for substrate and fibre sourcing

Paper Expo China takes place from 13 to 15 May at Poly World Trade Expo Center in Guangzhou. The 2027 event is the 22nd edition, following the show’s launch in 2004. Its scope reaches from pulp, papermaking equipment, automation and chemicals to finished printing, packaging, industrial and specialty papers, tissue, converting equipment and fibre-based alternatives.

For a print or packaging buyer, the value lies in understanding how a grade is made and controlled, not just collecting swatch books. Define the grade and application, critical print or converting performance, permitted variation, certification and supply pattern. Ask which mill and machine make the paper and how the offered specification is controlled across lots.

Paper-based alternatives to plastic deserve the same discipline. The brief should state the required barrier, heat or cold exposure, food or product contact, forming process, seal or coating, recovery route and market claim. A material can be fibre-based without being suitable for the buyer’s product, line or local recycling system.

If the decision is to manufacture moulded-fibre packaging rather than buy it finished, the Paper Expo pulp-moulding equipment article explains how to connect the part, tooling and line in a supplier meeting.

Prepare three representative jobs, not one generic equipment list

Select three jobs that reveal the real production range: a frequent core product, a demanding product that exposes quality limits and a growth product that the current factory cannot handle efficiently. For each, prepare the file type, substrate and format, run length, colour and variable-data requirements, finishing sequence, quality checkpoints, target turnaround and current waste or setup problem.

Ask each serious supplier to explain the same job route. Record which steps are inline or offline, what operators must do, how colour and defects are controlled, how changeovers work, which consumables are qualified and what output the supplier is willing to demonstrate. This creates a comparable discussion without turning the exhibition into a long theoretical specification review.

After the show, use samples and measured demonstration output to choose factory or reference-site visits. The follow-up should confirm the exact legal manufacturer, engineering and service team, production or assembly location, software and third-party dependencies, training, spare parts, acceptance method and commercial exclusions.
