A drawing of the packaging part you want to make is a better starting point for a pulp-molding equipment meeting than an isolated request for machine capacity. Buyers at Paper Expo China 2027 can use the Guangzhou trip to connect a formed-fibre product with its tooling and proposed line. A prearranged discussion with Nanya in Huadu is one concrete extension to investigate when that connection remains unresolved at the exhibition.
Begin with the part, not the entire paper industry
Paper Expo China runs from 13 to 15 May 2027 at Poly World Trade Expo Center in Pazhou, Guangzhou. The organiser covers pulp and papermaking equipment, paper grades, chemicals and paper-based alternatives to plastic. Within that broad programme, an equipment buyer needs a narrower brief than someone purchasing finished paper or ready-made packaging.
Choose the part that will drive the equipment discussion: for example, a protective insert, a tray or tableware. Bring a drawing or an existing sample, the intended application and the finish you need. Explain whether the project is one repeated shape or a family of parts. If you are still deciding whether to buy finished molded packaging or manufacture it yourself, settle that purchasing question before treating a machinery visit as necessary.
Select the actual Nanya location
Nanya’s official product range includes pulp-molding machines for packaging, trays and tableware, with dry-press and wet-press offerings. Its company information distinguishes a Guangzhou research and robot-assembly base from a Foshan machinery-manufacturing base. Those locations are not interchangeable appointment addresses.
For the Guangzhou option, the company publishes No. 79, Nanshe Middle Street, Huashan Town Industrial Park, Huadu District. Ask whether that site can host a discussion of your part, relevant molds and the proposed equipment with the appropriate staff. A published factory address is an appointment lead, not confirmation of Paper Expo 2027 participation, visitor access or a running line available to demonstrate your product.
Send the product brief before arranging transport. Confirm what can be shown at Huadu and what would require a different site or later trial. The separate Foshan address is No. 2, Jiaye Road, Leping, Sanshui; if the necessary machinery is there, reconsider the destination and travel plan instead of adding a second factory automatically.
Huadu is across Guangzhou from the Pazhou exhibition. Allow a dedicated visit block with travel time on both sides, based on the accepted appointment and current route, rather than squeezing it between show meetings. The published office schedule is Monday–Saturday, but it does not guarantee staff or demonstration availability during the exhibition. An agreed discussion in Guangzhou is useful only if the people and materials needed for your equipment decision will be present.
Ask how the proposed line makes your part
At the meeting, place the part drawing beside the proposed mold and line configuration. Ask which stages and supporting equipment are included in the offer: pulp preparation, forming, drying or pressing, trimming and handling as relevant to the proposal. Have the supplier distinguish equipment supplied with the line from equipment or services your project must arrange separately.
For a family of products, discuss how molds would change, which parts of the line remain common and what the supplier needs to assess each shape. A demonstration on another tray is useful context, but it is not evidence that your insert will have the same output, finish or handling behaviour. Ask what sample work or trial would be needed to support the quotation for your particular part.
Leave with a defined next step: the part revision being assessed, the proposed tooling, the equipment included and the outstanding trial or engineering questions. Any claims about food-contact suitability, recyclability or other end-use requirements need evidence for the actual finished product; the fact that a machine forms fibre does not settle them. That keeps the visit tied to an equipment purchase you can evaluate, rather than a general tour of paper-related machinery.
