The Shanghai International Catering and Ingredients Exhibition connects the food itself with the systems needed to prepare it at scale. Its scope runs from meat, seafood, seasonings, vegetables and prepared dishes to processing, sterilisation and packaging equipment, making it possible to compare recipes, formats and production requirements in the same visit.
Restaurant groups, distributors and private-label buyers can use the show to shortlist products, then test the less visible parts of the offer: cold-chain control, shelf life, ingredient declarations, batch consistency and export documentation. It is a supply-chain event rather than a consumer tasting fair, so a focused product brief will produce better meetings.
