Design Shanghai is a curated design platform rather than a bulk furniture marketplace. Its four sections cover furniture and lighting, kitchen and bathroom systems, new materials and applications, and living and lifestyle, combining established international brands with Chinese designers, craft, collectible work and material experimentation.
The event debuted at Shanghai Exhibition Centre in 2014 and returned to that central venue in 2026 before its 2027 edition.
