About the Venue
Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center occupies a central Hankou site opposite Zhongshan Park. The current building opened in September 2001, replacing the earlier Wuhan Exhibition Hall on the same site. Wuhan municipal reporting describes ten exhibition halls with about 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, as well as an adjoining urban plaza. Unlike the larger Wuhan International Expo Center in Hanyang, this venue forms part of an established downtown commercial district and hosts exhibitions, conferences and public events in a compact multi-use complex.
