EP Shanghai is a grid and industrial-power exhibition covering primary and secondary transmission and distribution equipment, transformers, low-voltage systems, generation equipment, instruments, dispatch and control, and intelligent operation and maintenance. Storage, hydrogen, microgrids, virtual power plants, data-centre power and digital-twin applications extend the programme into the architecture of new power systems without turning it into a general renewable-energy fair. Founded in 1986 and organised by the China Electricity Council, the 33rd edition marks the show’s 40-year development.
