At ASE China, bonding and sealing are connected to the chemistry and equipment that make an application work. Adhesive families, sealants, tapes and functional films appear with resins, additives, coating and converting machines, dispensers and test instruments. A ready-formulated adhesive, a raw material for a new formulation and a dispensing system are therefore separate sourcing routes within the same show. The first comparison concerns the materials being joined and the conditions of use; the second concerns formulation inputs; the third concerns application and production control. Keeping these distinctions visible helps buyers avoid treating every bonding product as interchangeable. The programme also provides a bridge between chemical suppliers and converters whose films or tapes deliver the adhesive in a usable form.
