Event Overview
Beijing International Book Fair is fundamentally a rights and publishing-industry marketplace, not simply a public book display. Publishers, copyright agencies and cultural organisations use it for rights trading, publication import and export, digital and multimedia publishing, children’s content and animation, while the public programme broadens its cultural reach.
Founded in 1986, BIBF is hosted by China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Co., Ltd. and has become China’s principal international publishing fair.
