WMF looks behind the finished furniture product to the equipment, materials and systems used to make it. Woodworking machinery, panel and solid-wood processing, surface treatment, components, automation and digital production tools allow factories and sourcing teams to compare individual machines with complete production-line concepts.
The fair is especially useful when a furniture programme has already exposed a capacity, quality or labour bottleneck. Buyers should bring target materials and output requirements, then compare throughput, yield, changeover time, software integration, operator needs, service coverage and the supplier’s ability to test the process on representative workpieces.
