MEGA SHOW Part 2 offers a separate sourcing phase with a practical emphasis on gifts and travel goods, housewares, stationery and other consumer merchandise. Travel bags, luggage accessories and small leather goods create a different comparison task from paper products or office supplies, even when the same distributor buys both. Buyers with gaps in an existing assortment can use this phase to complete a defined range instead of repeating a general survey of every category. A shortlist should identify the missing product types, target specifications and suppliers worth meeting, including whether an earlier enquiry can be advanced with samples or quotations. Attendance at Part 1 is not a prerequisite, and staying for another phase only makes sense when its product and supplier mix addresses an actual purchasing need.
