Intertextile Home Textiles Spring 2027: Bedding Sourcing

Build a coordinated bedding range and assess whether a Mercury international-trade appointment in Shanghai can settle samples, sizes and repeat orders.

Matching patterns do not necessarily make a bedding collection. A duvet, its cover and the matching pillowcases must also fit the sizes your customers buy, while the filling, care instructions and packaging need to support a clear retail offer. Spring sampling is a useful moment to resolve those details together.

Use Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Spring 2027 to compare bedding suppliers, then consider a prearranged Mercury meeting for a shortlisted duvet or bedding-set range. Its Shanghai international-trade contact gives the extension a concrete commercial starting point. The visit is most useful once your target sizes and sales channel are defined.

Build one bedding range at the fair

The organiser confirms 10–12 March 2027 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai. Its product groups include bedding sets, duvet and pillow fillings, blankets, bath textiles and interior fabrics. This article focuses on finished bedding, rather than trying to cover every home-textile category.

Bring a size list in centimetres, the intended set contents and an outline of your opening order. Compare shell fabric and filling separately: two visually similar duvets may have different compositions, filling weights or care requirements. Record the exact reference behind every sample and ask which alternatives belong to the same continuing range.

A hotel-linen programme has a different brief, including the buyer’s laundering requirements and replacement policy. Keep those requirements explicit if they apply. An apparel-fabric appointment serves another product mission; the shared Shanghai exhibition setting is not itself a reason to divert bedding-buying time.

Approach Mercury’s international-trade team

Mercury’s official contact page lists its headquarters at 1487 Huhang Highway, Fengxian District, Shanghai, together with an international-trade department. Its duvet catalogue presents a range of fillings, while the company site also lists bedding sets. These sources justify asking about a product-specific meeting, not assuming that every displayed item is offered for your market or under your own brand.

Send the intended sizes, products and selling channel before asking for an appointment. Confirm who will attend, which samples can be presented and where the meeting will take place. Mercury is a research candidate, not an endorsement or a confirmed 2027 exhibitor; access to a showroom or production area requires the company’s agreement.

Allow a separate half-day provisionally for a Fengxian meeting and check the actual route from NECC once the address and time are agreed. Ask whether the team can meet during the fair or needs a later date. A meeting at the exhibition or by video remains useful if an off-site visit would consume time without adding the required samples or decision-makers.

Compare the repeat order as well as the first sample

Use the appointment to pair each duvet with the correct cover dimensions and set composition. Ask for a written specification covering shell and filling composition, filling weight, finished dimensions, care instructions and packing. Where a product makes a functional claim, request the supporting evidence for that exact reference before using the claim in your own sales material.

Then discuss minimum quantities by size and colour, sample charges, availability of replacement pillowcases or covers, lead times and how discontinued designs are communicated. For a branded range, confirm the proposed resale territory and permitted product imagery; private-label availability requires a separate agreement.

The useful outcome is a small, coherent sample-and-order list that your team can check against existing bedding sizes and planned retail prices. If the supplier’s range, brand terms or replenishment pattern does not match your business, keep the alternatives found at the fair. That decision can save more than adding another supplier visit.
