Guangzhou Hotel Supplies Exhibition 2026: Sourcing at Shaxi Market

Add a focused Panyu market visit for tableware, glassware and hotel linen, with the right Shaxi address and a practical plan for mixed-shop orders.

A hotel opening order rarely ends with one supplier. The restaurant may still need glasses that fit its dishwasher racks, the housekeeping team may be choosing linen, and replacement plates may matter as much as the first delivery. The Guangzhou International Hotel Equipment and Supplies Exhibition 2026 brings these purchasing discussions together on 18–20 December at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Pazhou. Its scope extends from tabletop and guest-room supplies to kitchens, cleaning, furniture and smart-hotel products. Organiser invitation.

For a buyer already attending, a focused visit to Xinji Shaxi Hospitality Supplies Expo Center in Panyu can help finish a table-service or guest-room assortment. Its permanent shops give the extension a different purpose from another exhibition: compare specific articles and ask the selected sellers what ordering and replenishment arrangements they can offer. Keep complex kitchen installations and custom hotel projects with the suppliers responsible for their design and delivery; a general market circuit is a weaker use of time for those decisions.

Choose a table-service or guest-room circuit

The market operator’s guide lists ceramic and melamine tableware, glass products, stainless-steel goods, kitchen supplies, hotel linen, guest-room products and furniture, among other categories. Xinji Group’s own project page also identifies ceramic tableware, coffee vessels, kitchen equipment, glassware, linen and stainless steel. This is a concrete match for operating supplies, rather than a promise that every shop stocks every hotel requirement. Market category guide and Xinji Group’s Shaxi profile.

For a restaurant, start with the serving arrangement that still needs decisions: plate and bowl sizes, matching cups, drinking glasses, trays or small kitchen utensils. Carry the measurements and photographs collected at the show. Putting candidate pieces beside one another can reveal whether a cup actually suits the intended saucer or whether two supposedly matching finishes look different. Ask the shop to identify the material of each selected article; ceramic and melamine ranges may serve different uses even when their appearance is similar.

For a hotel-room programme, group the linen and room-supply questions instead of crossing the market to inspect unrelated kitchen equipment. Bring bed and pillow dimensions and the intended laundering arrangements. Discuss the exact proposed linen construction, sample identification and replacement reference with the seller, then arrange any wash testing needed for the property. A tactile comparison at the shop can help select a sample; the property’s own trial still determines whether it works in service.

These two routes can be split between colleagues when they have different purchasing responsibilities. A lone buyer will usually get more from one resolved assortment than from a quick pass through every product category. Ask the market contact for relevant shops before travelling, and let the remaining gaps from the exhibition determine which appointments survive.

Go to Shaxi Avenue, not the other Xinji market

Xinji Group places the Shaxi project at 11 Shaxi Avenue, Luopu, Panyu, Guangzhou, with its listed contact office on the third floor of Block E. The market operator’s contact page also identifies the Shaxi Avenue site, near the Shaxi exit of the South China Expressway. The same directory separately lists Xinji Hotelex Hospitality Supplies Center on Yingbin Road. These are different destinations under the same operator; send the full market name and the shop’s building or unit to the driver. Project address and operator contact directory.

For trip planning, reserve a half-day as a working allowance, including the transfer from Pazhou, rather than treating the market as a stop between exhibition meetings. Actual travel time depends on the departure gate, traffic and selected shop. Confirm the route once those details are known. The published office address helps identify the correct complex but does not identify the entrance closest to every merchant.

An effective sequence is to use the first exhibition day to narrow suppliers, then send photographs and remaining product questions to selected market shops. Place the market visit after the show discussions that will affect the order. 21 December, after the exhibition, is a possible separate shopping day if the selected merchants confirm their opening and availability; it is not an additional exhibition day. A short mid-show visit can also work when it leaves the important supplier meetings intact. Merchant opening hours and specific stock need direct confirmation.

The extension is a visit to a professional market, not an arranged production-site tour. Neither the market’s published address nor a merchant’s presence there establishes that the shop is a manufacturer or an exhibitor at the December show. Ask any proposed manufacturing contact about its actual site and appointment arrangements separately.

Turn several shop selections into one manageable shipment

The attraction of a hotel-supplies market is the ability to assemble a range; the practical difficulty is that the plates, glasses and linen may come from different sellers. Before paying for a collection of goods, establish which business sells each line and whether one party has agreed to consolidate them. The market operator describes order-procurement and distribution services, but the details of an overseas shipment still need agreement for the actual order. Xinji’s published market services.

Ask each seller to put the selected reference, material, size, quantity and carton information on its quotation. For fragile tableware, discuss how cartons will be packed for the intended transport and who handles damage claims. If a consolidator is involved, confirm where the cartons arrive, who checks them against the order, and whether repacking is included. A combined collection point is useful only when someone is responsible for reconciling the separate deliveries.

Keep a labelled sample or clear product reference for repeat purchases. Ask whether the seller expects the same series to remain available and what happens if a later delivery has a different glaze, shade or specification. That conversation is especially useful for a restaurant replacing breakages gradually: an attractive first order is less valuable if the next carton cannot match it. Any availability statement remains a seller’s current commitment, not a guarantee derived from the market’s size.

Finish with a sample and quotation list that the hotel or distributor can review, rather than buying every appealing item encountered. Where the remaining decision is an engineered kitchen layout, installed-equipment servicing or a bespoke furniture production programme, a scheduled discussion with the responsible supplier will usually add more than extending the trip for general market browsing.
