A poultry-house quotation and an equipment quotation can look complete separately while describing two different projects. Cage rows may be based on one internal layout, the building on another, and installation on a local crew that has not seen either drawing. For a buyer attending CAHE 2027, a supplier meeting built around the same project drawing can be more valuable than collecting another catalogue.
Consider a Huangdao project meeting with HENGON when your purchase combines poultry housing and equipment. Its published offer covers both, with design and installation guidance. Use the appointment to clarify the proposed layout and responsibilities before requesting a revised quotation. The contact is in Qingdao’s Huangdao District, but the company’s own profile places its manufacturing location in Zhucheng: a local meeting and a factory trip must be arranged as different activities.
Bring the building problem to the equipment discussion
CAHE runs on 18–20 May 2027 at Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition. Its livestock and poultry scope includes farm equipment as well as feed and other operating inputs. This extension is for a poultry-project team coordinating housing with equipment, not a feed-only buyer or a visitor looking for a supplier for every livestock species. Official CAHE website.
HENGON lists poultry cages, floor-rearing equipment, feeding and drinking systems, environmental controls and prefab poultry houses. That makes it a relevant company to contact about the meeting between the building and the systems inside it. It does not establish that one particular package fits your flock, destination market or existing structure. Company product scope and location.
Send the preliminary drawing before requesting the visit; HENGON’s FAQ identifies it as an input for quotation. Mark the dimensions you know and the ones still awaiting measurement. Include the bird type and production stage, proposed housing system, site location and whether the project is new construction or a retrofit. Your project team should supply the relevant environmental and utility conditions rather than letting a generic catalogue layout stand in for the actual site. Quotation and installation FAQ.
For an existing poultry house, label the structure and systems you hope to retain. HENGON’s published Philippines renovation account describes a project where different buildings led to different rebuild-versus-retain decisions. It is a supplier-reported example of why the existing building matters, not a design specification or verified operating result for your own farm. Arrange qualified local assessment of structural condition and applicable requirements before treating retained columns, roof elements or foundations as usable. Supplier’s renovation project account.
Put the building, equipment and local work on the same quote
During the meeting, ask the supplier to work from one marked-up drawing. Show where cages or floor equipment, feed delivery, drinking lines, ventilation openings and manure removal are intended to sit. If another contractor provides one of those systems, identify who will check the dimensions and connections between their work. This is a coordination exercise for the proposed project, not a ventilation design or a stocking-density recommendation.
HENGON’s service page describes a goods list and installation drawings, and discusses using its supervising engineer with a local installation crew. Ask how that would work on your site: who provides labour and lifting equipment, who prepares foundations and utility connections, who installs each system and who checks it before operation. The word “installation” can otherwise cover very different amounts of work. Published design and installation support.
Request an itemised offer that separates the building structure and envelope, poultry equipment, controls, installation supervision and spare parts. List exclusions alongside the included items. If you are comparing an integrated supplier with separate building and equipment suppliers, use that same list for both; a lower headline price may simply leave more work with your local team.
Confirm warranty coverage separately for the steel building and the equipment. The company’s service page and FAQ do not use uniform warranty wording, so obtain the applicable written terms for your project, including the start date, excluded conditions and who handles parts, labour and freight. A statement about building service life is not the same thing as a warranty for motors or controls. Keep any delivery or service commitment tied to the actual quotation rather than adopting general website promises.
Keep the Huangdao meeting distinct from a Zhucheng factory visit
HENGON’s current contact page gives 2789 Binhai Avenue, Huangdao District, Qingdao. Its company profile separately identifies Zhucheng, Shandong as its location. Ask whether the relevant design and equipment colleagues can meet at the Huangdao contact address, and what samples or demonstrations can be made available there. The published address alone does not confirm a showroom or production workshop. Official contact details, company-location information.
The Tuesday–Thursday exhibition leaves Friday 21 May as a possible appointment day. That sequence lets the team bring unresolved questions from the show into the meeting without sacrificing exhibition time. Reserve a half-day with transport only after the host confirms the address and agenda; check the route from your actual hotel and leave a buffer before onward travel.
If the supplier proposes a factory visit in Zhucheng, request the exact address, travel plan and operations available to inspect before adding it. That is a separate extension from the Huangdao project meeting described here. A customer farm is another separate request, subject to its operator’s permission and biosecurity rules; a supplier invitation should not be treated as access to a working poultry site.
Aim for a marked-up plan and a comparable offer
The useful result is a revised drawing or drawing-comment list, an agreed quotation breakdown and a short list of missing site information with someone responsible for supplying it. Ask which assumptions could change the layout or price, and which questions require your local engineer or farm manager. Those answers let you compare proposals on the same project rather than comparing unlike packages.
A factory walkthrough, if separately arranged, may help you understand manufacturing and inspection, but it cannot settle how an unassessed building at home will perform. Keep site-specific design, animal-management and local acceptance decisions with the qualified project team.
When the site is still undecided or no one can provide reliable building dimensions, start with a remote project briefing. The extra Qingdao appointment becomes worthwhile once there is a drawing and a set of coordination questions that the people in the room can actually resolve.
