A powder and a liquid sold under the same broad fertilizer ingredient name are not yet comparable purchases. For buyers attending CAC 2027, the useful Shanghai follow-up is a meeting that pins down the supplied grade, the sample behind the offer and the packaging required for the order. That gives a price comparison meaning before either product enters a purchasing programme.
Use the fertilizer programme to narrow the grade
CAC takes place on 24–26 March 2027 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Its fertilizer sector includes amino-acid, humic-acid and seaweed products alongside other plant-nutrition inputs. This is part of CAC’s programme, not a separate trip to add to the itinerary.
For a distributor or fertilizer producer, start the discussion with how the material will be purchased: a raw material for further processing, a bulk finished product or a packed product for distribution. Then identify the proposed grade and whether it is supplied as powder or liquid. Ask the seller to state the composition and the basis on which each declaration is expressed. A product-family name alone leaves too much room for two quotations to describe different purchases.
Bring the pack sizes and indicative order volumes you actually need. If the catalogue grade does not fit, find out whether the supplier is offering an existing alternative or proposing development work. Those are different commitments and should not share an assumed delivery date.
A Qingpu appointment with a defined purpose
Shanghai Sinocrop Evergreen’s official site lists amino-acid powders and liquids, humic-acid products and seaweed extracts. Its published contact address is Lane 99, Huafang Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai. This makes it a specific candidate for a fertilizer-grade and sample discussion; it does not establish participation in CAC 2027 or an arranged visit.
Ask whether the company can present the grades on your shortlist and have the relevant product and commercial staff join the meeting. Confirm the building, meeting address and available sample formats before setting off. The public contact address does not establish that manufacturing or laboratory work takes place there. If your objective requires observing a production process, the company must identify the actual site and separately agree access before that becomes part of the journey.
The exhibition and the contact address are both in Qingpu, but that is not evidence of a short walk or a fixed transfer time. Check the confirmed arrival point against the NECC show schedule and reserve a separate appointment block. A meeting at the exhibition may be sufficient if the right staff and materials are already there; a Qingpu visit earns its place when it makes a more complete grade review possible.
Connect the sample to the eventual order
Use the appointment to put the sample, specification and commercial offer side by side. Ask which grade reference appears on all three, how the sample relates to a production batch and which declared characteristics the supplier will include in the purchase specification. For liquids, make the quoted quantity and concentration basis explicit; for powders, discuss the supplied form and packaging. Neither an attractive sample nor an ingredient name demonstrates performance in your own finished product or growing conditions.
Request a quotation for the agreed grade, pack, minimum order and delivery basis, with any qualification work still outstanding identified separately. If testing is needed, agree what can be evaluated by your own team or a suitable independent specialist and how results will be reviewed before an order. Sample shipping and any market-specific requirements need their own confirmation; carrying material home from a meeting is not the default next step.
The useful outcome is a traceable purchasing option: one identified grade, the corresponding sample and specification, and a price for the form and quantity you intend to buy. If the supplier cannot connect those pieces yet, keep the offer under review rather than filling the remaining trip with additional meetings on the same unresolved product name.
