AgTech China 2027 brings these product families into one specialist visit.
For a greenhouse project, shortlist the structure and irrigation options together, then consider a prepared meeting with SHG Greenhouse in Nanxiang. A useful appointment puts the proposed equipment against the actual crop and growing layout. It adds less for a buyer seeking open-field tractors, standalone seeds or crop-protection chemicals.
Keep the visit centred on greenhouse production
AgTech runs 24–26 March 2027 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The organiser lists greenhouse technology, irrigation, seeds and smart agriculture, with irrigation exhibits extending to pumps, filters, controls, pipework and fertilizer injection.
AgTech is a specialist part of CAC 2027, not an additional exhibition requiring a second city visit. The shared event structure can be useful for a wider agricultural buying team, but a greenhouse buyer can keep the commercial programme focused on structures, growing systems and irrigation. A fertilizer discussion becomes relevant when it addresses a real requirement of that project, rather than simply because another sector occupies the same exhibition.
Bring a sketch showing the greenhouse area, crop arrangement, benches or beds, access aisles and the equipment already selected. Describe the water source and the information you have about its quality and available supply. This gives suppliers something concrete to assess and makes gaps in the project brief visible early.
Take the shortlisted layout to Nanxiang

Keep the Nanxiang appointment to a separate half-day, with the route checked from NECC or your hotel. SHG publishes weekday office hours and weekend closure. A confirmed weekday slot around the fair is therefore more practical than assuming a Saturday visit after it ends. If the relevant staff are unavailable, arrange a later remote review rather than adding an idle weekend to the trip.
Ask how the irrigation fits the growing space
SHG’s irrigation-system page describes travelling booms, drip, sprinkler and mist systems, plus ebb-and-flood arrangements. Use these as discussion options, not as interchangeable equipment or a recommendation for a crop without further assessment.
For a boom proposal, ask how its travel path, support and watering zones fit the greenhouse and access aisles. For drip or mist equipment, discuss where the delivery points belong and how the supplier proposes to separate crops or watering schedules. For benches, ask how the irrigation arrangement relates to the selected growing and handling method. Have the greenhouse supplier and irrigation specialist identify which structure, piping, controls and installation tasks each party supplies.
The meeting should produce a marked layout and an offer that identifies the selected system and its remaining design inputs. Your growing team and qualified technical advisers still need to assess crop suitability, water treatment, structural requirements and local compliance. A component display or workshop visit cannot establish those outcomes.
If the supplier’s system does not match the crop or the brief is still undecided, keep the AgTech contacts and settle those choices before commissioning detailed proposals. An extra meeting has value when it narrows a real equipment choice, not when it merely repeats a general greenhouse presentation.
