Automotive World China is centred on the intelligence layer of the vehicle: automotive electronics, chips and software, smart cockpits, connected-vehicle systems, autonomous-driving technology, NEV power components, new materials and assembly engineering. It is therefore more relevant to product-development and Tier-supply decisions than a conventional motor show built mainly around finished passenger vehicles.

Its Shenzhen edition is deliberately co-located with electronics-manufacturing, display and advanced-material events, placing the show inside a broader South China technology week rather than treating automotive development as an isolated sector.
